The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) held the Parent Meeting (POM) 2025 for undergraduate regular program students. The event took place at Balairung UI on Saturday (August 30) and was designed to provide parents with a comprehensive understanding of the academic environment their children will soon experience.

On this occasion, he also introduced the faculty leadership and department management of FTUI for the 2022–2026 term. “Your sons and daughters are entering a new phase in their academic journey. The transition from high school to university life is certainly not easy; therefore, the support and trust of parents will play an important role in helping them adapt,” said Prof. Kemas.

The discussion was moderated by Dr. Muhamad Sahlan, S.Si, M.Eng.

Prof. Harinaldi reinforced FTUI’s firm stance on upholding academic integrity, outlining strict consequences for violations such as cheating, plagiarism, and other forms of academic misconduct. Additionally, Fadhilah Muslim provided information on scholarship opportunities, career development, and international mobility programs available for regular students.
Through the 2025 Parent Meeting (POM), FTUI aims to strengthen collaboration between the faculty, students, and parents in supporting the academic journey of the new cohort. By providing a comprehensive understanding of the academic system, governance, and available opportunities, parents are expected to become strategic partners in guiding their children through university life. The 2025 POM serves as a tangible step by FTUI in fostering an inclusive, adaptive, and achievement-oriented educational ecosystem for all students.
