On Monday (April 14), the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) held a Coordination Meeting on the Filling of the First Quarter Performance Agreement for the Year 2025. The meeting took place in the Senate Meeting Room, FTUI Dean Building, and was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ir. Harinaldi, M.Eng., Head of the Unit for Planning, Performance Monitoring, and Education Modernization. The meeting was scheduled to discuss the completion of the Q1 2025 Performance Agreement.
This year, the responsibility for the Performance Agreement—formerly known as the Performance Contract or KOKIN—has shifted from the Academic Quality Assurance Unit (UPMA) to the Unit for Planning, Performance Monitoring, and Education Modernization (UPPKMP). A total of 91 performance indicators have been established for the faculty this year, an increase from 66 indicators in the previous year.
These indicators are categorized into five perspectives, aligned with the five Strategic Goals of the UI Rector for 2025–2029. The Financial Perspective is associated with the goal of Empowering Entrepreneurship; the stakeholder perspective with Global Competitiveness; the Learning and Growth Perspective with Improving Education Access and Quality and Impactful Research Innovation; and the Internal Business Process Perspective with the goal of Good Governance and Cultural Transformation.
“This coordination meeting is a strategic step in ensuring the achievement of the performance indicators that have been set. With the increased number of indicators this year, inter-unit collaboration becomes increasingly crucial to support the realization of UI’s 2025–2029 strategic goals,” stated Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D.
Throughout the meeting, department heads and secretaries raised questions and requests that became key points of discussion. Several departments requested data for certain indicators, such as the percentage of undergraduate students from 3T regions (Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged Areas), the percentage of HURS parameter compliance across faculties/schools/vocational programs by standards, and the percentage increase of students participating in information literacy programs. Participants also raised questions such as whether supervising students can be considered as part of industry practitioner work, and whether open content (OVIS) initiatives will continue.
The meeting was attended by vice deans, managers, and department heads within FTUI, including the Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Yanuar, M.Eng., M.Sc.; the Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration, Dr.-Ing. Ir. Dalhar Susanto; Head of the Unit for Planning, Performance Monitoring, and Education Modernization, Prof. Dr. Ir. Widodo Wahyu Purwanto, DEA; and Secretary of the Planning, Performance Monitoring, and Education Modernization Unit, Dr. Miktha Farid Alkadri, S.Ars., M.Ars.
