FTUI Holds Medical Check-Up 2024 for 535 Lecturers and Staff

From August 6 to 8, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), in collaboration with Universitas Indonesia Hospital (RSUI), held a Medical Check-Up (MCU). This activity took place on the 1st Floor of Building S, FTUI, and was attended by a total of 535 participants, including leaders, educational staff, and lecturers from various work units, research centres, security, and outsourcing within FTUI.

During the check-up, FTUI Dean, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, stated, “The health and well-being of all educational staff and lecturers are our priorities at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia. With the 2024 Medical Check-Up, we hope to ensure that all staff and lecturers are in optimal health, enabling them to continue contributing maximally to the education and research efforts of the faculty.”

FTUI is committed to ensuring the optimal health condition of all faculty members, and thus this check-up is conducted routinely. The examinations include a Physical Examination by a General Practitioner, Eye Refraction and Color Blindness Test, Vital Signs Check, EKG, Complete Abdominal Ultrasound, and Laboratory tests, which consist of Routine Hematology, Complete Urine Test, HbA1c, Blood Creatinine, Blood Uric Acid, Blood Urea, SGPT, Total Cholesterol, Triglycerides, LDL, and HDL.

Dr. Ajib Setyo Arifin, S.T., M.T., the Manager of Human Resources and Facilities, stated, “For the well-being of our educational staff, we conduct this activity annually as a form of care for their health. Through this activity, we hope to provide accurate examination results that can be used to anticipate potential health issues. This, of course, helps to maintain the optimal performance of our educational staff.”

With the number of participants significantly increasing from the previous year, the 2024 MCU is expected to provide accurate and comprehensive health reports, enabling prevention or treatment of any existing conditions. This activity aims to create a healthy, productive, and high-quality working environment at FTUI.
