The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), continues to demonstrate its commitment to building transparent, accountable, and integrity-driven governance through the Integrity Zone (ZI) program. One of the initiatives undertaken is a socialization session on Gratification Control within the FTUI environment. The event took place in the Senate Meeting Room, FTUI Dean’s Building, on August 5.
The Gratification Control Unit (UPG) of Universitas Indonesia served as the main resource speakers at the event, which was attended by FTUI’s Gratification Team and the Pengungkit team responsible for strengthening various aspects of internal control. Representing UPG UI were three key members: Mr. Nyoto Asgard, SE, M.Si, ERMAP, CROP, Mr. Rushli Fauzan, SE, MSM, and Ms. Anggia, S.IA.
In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Ir. Harinaldi, M.Eng., Coordinator of Pengungkit 1, stated that FTUI’s integrity enhancement efforts encompass gratification control, implementation of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP), public complaint handling, whistle-blowing systems (WBS), and conflict of interest management. “Through these measures, FTUI aims to foster a work culture free from corrupt, collusive, and nepotistic practices while improving the quality of both academic and non-academic services within the faculty,” explained Prof. Harinaldi.
FTUI Dean, Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed his appreciation for the initiative, saying, “The commitment to the Integrity Zone is a crucial step in ensuring that all processes at FTUI operate with transparency, accountability, and adherence to good governance principles. We hope this collaboration not only strengthens the system but also builds a culture of integrity embedded across the entire academic community.”
The event was also attended by members of the FTUI Gratification Team, including Dr. Nyoman Suwartha, S.T., M.T., M.Agr., Melya Jurisvina, Yunita Dewi Hapsari, Amida Wahyuningsih, Nourma Yunita, and Happy Victoria Augusta. In addition to these teams, FTUI further reinforces the implementation of the Integrity Zone through the roles of the Pengungkit members: Pengungkit 3: Dr.-Ing. Ir. Ova Candra Dewi, S.T., M.Sc., GP, IPU; Pengungkit 4: Dr.-Ing. Ir. Mohammad Adhitya, S.T., M.Sc.; and Pengungkit 6: Tikka Anggraeni, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR.
Through the synergy between UPG UI, the FTUI Gratification Team, and the Pengungkit members, FTUI reaffirms its commitment to becoming a faculty that excels in governance and actively supports Universitas Indonesia’s vision of becoming a world-class university.
