FTUI Ready to Host Engineering Training for PT China State Construction Overseas Development Shanghai (Indonesia)

On Monday (06/24), FTUI held a meeting with PT China State Construction Overseas Development Shanghai (Indonesia) at the Smart Meeting Room, FTUI Dean’s Building. The meeting was organized to follow up on the planned collaboration involving engineering and Indonesian language training for the employees of PT China State Construction Overseas Development Shanghai (Indonesia).

“There are 38 of our employees who will participate in the training, some of whom are from the master’s program,” said Max Li, the representative from PT China State Construction Overseas Development Shanghai (Indonesia).

Dr.-Ing. Ir. Dalhar Susanto, Manager of Cooperation, Ventura, and Alumni, stated, “To inaugurate this activity, we will hold an opening ceremony for the training. Perhaps we can organize it on the first day of training.”

The training, which will commence in early July, will last for three months with a duration of three hours per day. Each morning, participants will receive Indonesian language training followed by engineering materials. There will be a one-hour break in between sessions.

Rosmalita, Coordinator of the CDC, said, “We will provide mineral water and infused water for the participants. Additionally, to facilitate participants in taking drinks and to maintain the environment, we will give out FTUI water bottles as merchandise.”

Several matters still need to be discussed and agreed upon, including the requirement for language instructors who can speak Mandarin, operational costs, transportation, and other facilities that will be used by participants during the training.

“We are very pleased to support the engineering training for PT China State Construction Overseas Development Shanghai (Indonesia) by accommodating the training needs. I hope the knowledge provided will be useful and inspire the training participants,” said Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, Dean of FTUI.
