Fudan University visited the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) on Wednesday, April 23. This visit was part of a series of site visits by Fudan University to Universitas Indonesia. Locations visited included the UI Hospital, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.
The Dean of the School of International Relations and Public Affairs at Fudan University, Prof. SU Changhe, along with his delegation, was welcomed at FTUI by Tikka Anggraeni, Manager of Public Communication and General Administration, and Dr. Imam Jauhari Maknun, S.T., M.T., M.Sc., Manager of Infrastructure, Procurement, and Logistics. They were given a tour of one of FTUI’s latest facilities: the Smart Classroom REI, S101, located in the S Building.
During the visit, Tikka explained to Prof. SU Changhe the advantages of the Smart Classroom, ranging from its appealing interior design to the cutting-edge technology that enables dynamic and interactive lectures.
Following their visit to FTUI, Prof. SU Changhe, along with the President of Fudan University, Prof. CHEN Zhimin, and the rest of the Fudan University delegation, arrived at the UI Library’s floating room. They were welcomed by the Rector of Universitas Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU.
“Fudan University’s visit to the Faculty of Engineering at UI is a form of appreciation for the digital transformation we are developing, particularly through our Smart Classroom facilities. We warmly welcome this exchange of ideas and experiences as a strategic step in building international collaboration in developing digital-based education and learning technologies,” said Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., Dean of FTUI.
