The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., officially inaugurated Ir. Achmad Riadi, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., IPM. as the new Head of the Naval Architecture Program, Department of Mechanical Engineering, FTUI on Friday (21/02). He replaces Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Arif Budiyanto, S.T., M.T., IPM. The handover ceremony occurred at the Makara 04 Smart Meeting Room, FTUI Dean’s Office Building.
In his speech, Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed his gratitude, stating, “We sincerely thank Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Arif Budiyanto, S.T., M.T., IPM. for his dedication and contributions during his tenure as Head of the Naval Architecture Program. Under his leadership, the program has made significant progress in academics, research, and industry collaborations.”
Prof. Kemas continued, “To Ir. Achmad Riadi, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., IPM., congratulations on this new appointment. Serving as Head of the Program is no small task, but we are confident that with your experience, expertise, and enthusiasm, the Naval Architecture Program at FTUI will continue to advance and develop. We hope that under your leadership, the program will further enhance its academic quality, expand collaborations with the maritime industry, and produce graduates who are competitive both nationally and internationally. Once again, congratulations to Ir. Achmad Riadi, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., IPM. May you carry out this responsibility well and bring great benefits to us all.”
During the event, Dean Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan officially relieved Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Arif Budiyanto, S.T., M.T., IPM. with the highest appreciation and respect, swore in and inaugurated Ir. Achmad Riadi, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., IPM. The event was also attended by FTUI leadership.
