The FTUI Family Women Association (IWK) again held the FTUI IWK Charity Bazaar which was held on October 27, 2022, at the Lobby of the FTUI K Building. This charity bazaar provides several basic needs at low prices, used goods in the form of clothes, household appliances, and wall hangings that are still usable. These items are sold at very affordable prices, which are in the range of Rp. 5000-25000. Apart from that, free coupons and coupons for cheap redemption of groceries for FTUI students are also provided.
Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU gave a speech at the opening of the bazaar activity, “We thank IWK FTUI and its staff who have worked together to hold the charity bazaar again after 2 years of not being held due to the pandemic. Hopefully, this bazaar can be a reminder for us again that we are now able to carry out charity programs or activities that are a charity for the big family of the UI Faculty of Engineering. It is also hoped that this activity will reflect superior and impactful IWK FTUI activities.”
This charity bazaar activity was welcomed by the UI Faculty of Engineering community. The high enthusiasm for the charity bazaar was evident from the large number of people who had come before the charity bazaar started. The implementation of this charity bazaar can also be a reminder to ourselves that happiness is not about who gets more, but who can give more.
