Maintaining Academic Quality, Master of Industrial Engineering Study Program Undergoes Engineering LAM Assessment

The Master of Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) underwent a field assessment for accreditation from LAM Teknik.The opening of a series of assessments was held in the Dean’s Smart Meeting Room, 1st Floor, FTUI (19/06).

LAM-Teknik assessors will conduct a field assessment process for accreditation of educational quality from LAM-TECHNIK as an educational quality assessment institution in the field of engineering.

Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., said, “This field assessment process is a process of comprehensive assessment and evaluation of the commitment made by FTUI to the quality and capacity of implementing educational programs at FTUI, to determine the feasibility Industrial Engineering Masters Study Program in implementing its academic program. Every process carried out in this field assessment refers to the vision, mission, strategy, and governance of the FTUI Industrial Masters Study Program. The process carried out by LAM-Technique also uses an accreditation instrument that refers to the National Higher Education Standards (SN-Dikti). It is hoped that this assessment process can become a means of assessment and evaluation to improve the academic quality of the Industrial Engineering Masters Study Program.”

As one of the twelve Masters’s Study Programs at FTUI, Industrial Engineering has the highest specialization and competitive index at FTUI. There are also five specializations, namely System Design and Management, Industrial Management, Data and Quality Engineering, Innovation and Design Engineering, and Production Systems and Logistics.
