The Undergraduate Program in Naval Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), has once again achieved an Excellent accreditation rating from the Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Program Studi Keteknikan (LAM Teknik) — the Independent Accreditation Institution for Engineering Study Programs.

This recognition is stated in the official decree of LAM Teknik No. 0673/SK/LAM Teknik/ASNIII/2025, which declares that the FTUI Undergraduate Program in Naval Architecture has earned an Excellent rating with a score of 374. The accreditation is valid from August 14, 2025, to August 20, 2030, as stated in the certificate signed by the Chair of the LAM Teknik PII Executive Committee, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ir. Misri Gozan, M.Tech., IPU., ASEAN.Eng.

Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering FTUI, Dr. Agus Sunjarianto Pamitran, S.T., M.Eng., expressed his appreciation for the collective effort behind this achievement.

“This Excellent accreditation is the result of collaboration among the entire academic community — from lecturers and educational staff to students. We will continue to uphold this standard and further develop a curriculum that is responsive to advances in maritime technology and industrial needs,” he said.

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering FTUI, Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., stated that this achievement further strengthens FTUI’s reputation as one of Indonesia’s leading engineering institutions.

“This success demonstrates that FTUI not only meets national standards but is also ready to compete globally. We remain committed to producing highly competitive graduates, possess strong integrity, and are ready to contribute to national development,” he emphasized.

With its Excellent accreditation status, students and alumni of the FTUI Undergraduate Program in Naval Architecture gain wider recognition for the program’s quality, both in industry and in pursuing further education. This achievement also positively impacts career opportunities in the growing maritime, shipping, and marine energy sectors.
