RCBE FTUI and New York University Abu Dhabi Ready to Strengthen Cooperation for the Advancement of Bioengineering and Artificial Intelligent

The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) and New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) have agreed to strengthen cooperation in the fields of Bioengineering and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This cooperation is expected to result in innovative and high-impact collaborations in the development of advanced technologies for the future.

This agreement was reached after a series of discussions and meetings between representatives from FTUI and NYUAD. Present in this discussion were Dr-Ing. Azhar Zam, a representative of New York University in Abu Dhabi and leaders from RCBE FTUI, such as Director of RCBE FTUI, Siti Fauziyah Rahman, S.T, M.Eng., Ph.D., Secretary of RCBE FTUI, Dr. Kenny Lischer, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., and several lecturers in DTE FTUI, such as Dr. Muhamad Sahlan, S.Si., M.Eng., Dr. Basari S.T., M.Eng., and several other lecturers.

Furthermore, the Director of RCBE FTUI, said about the cooperation that will be carried out by RCBE FTUI and New York University in Abu Dhabi, “From the discussion of cooperation, we plan to make a return visit to Abu Dhabi so that concrete cooperation can be established, cooperation on impact research, cooperation in the academic field in the form of exchanging doctoral students and postdoc positions, and most importantly cooperation in the fields of biomedical engineering and artificial intelligence,” explained Dr. Siti Fauziyah Rahman.

Dr. Azhar Zam revealed, “We believe that cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia will bring tremendous benefits to both parties. Bioengineering and Artificial Intelligence are fields that are increasingly integrated in today’s global society. We hope that through this collaboration, we can drive significant breakthroughs in research and development in both fields.”

Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, said, “This collaboration will open doors for knowledge exchange, joint research, and the development of innovative projects in Bioengineering and Artificial Intelligence. We are confident that through this collaboration, we will be able to make a significant contribution to the advancement of science and technology.”
