The Undergraduate Program in Electrical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (DTE FTUI), has again earned the “Excellent” accreditation status. This top-tier accreditation was granted by the Independent Accreditation Board for Engineering Study Programs under the Permanent Accreditation Body for Engineering Programs of the Institution of Engineers Indonesia (LAM-TEKNIK PII).
Based on the Decree of the Chairperson of the LAM-TEKNIK PII Executive Committee No. 0200/SK/LAM Teknik/AS/IV/2025, the accreditation certificate is valid from April 21, 2025, to April 20, 2030. This achievement demonstrates that the Undergraduate Program in Electrical Engineering at DTE FTUI has met the quality standards set by LAM-TEKNIK PII.
The Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Prof. Dr.Eng. Arief Udhiarto, S.T., M.T., IPU., stated, “We remain committed to maintaining this standard of excellence and to continuously innovating, delivering high-quality education, and conducting research that has a positive impact on society. We believe this achievement will further strengthen our department’s position as a center of excellence in higher education, both in Indonesia and globally.”
The Dean of FTUI, Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., noted that this “Excellent” accreditation not only reflects the academic quality and governance that have been developed but also serves as a testament to the spirit of innovation and collaboration that continues to thrive.
“We believe this achievement is not an endpoint, but rather a starting point for even greater steps forward—bringing the Undergraduate Program in Electrical Engineering closer to international standards and enabling it to meet the challenges of the times with relevant and impactful solutions,” said Prof. Kemas.
