The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), has released its latest report on the FTUI Endowment Fund, reaffirming its commitment to building excellent, inclusive, and sustainable engineering education. The FTUI Endowment Fund is a strategic initiative designed to support the implementation of the three pillars of higher education—education, research, and community engagement—while also providing scholarships for students in need and enhancing the capacity development of FTUI’s academic community.
As of September 2025, the FTUI Endowment Fund has successfully raised a total of IDR 1,117,220,672. The breakdown of collected funds is as follows:
- Virtual Account: IDR 943,064,972
- Commitment: IDR 100,000,000
- QRIS: IDR 74,155,700
Specifically, in September 2025 alone, the Endowment Fund received an additional IDR 841,474,972. This achievement was made possible through the active participation of generous donors, including a contribution of IDR 300 million from Didit Hidayat Agripinanto, alongside 18 other donors who share a collective commitment to supporting the FTUI Endowment Fund as a tangible contribution to advancing engineering education in Indonesia.
Dean of FTUI, Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed his gratitude for this remarkable progress.
“The September update of the FTUI Endowment Fund reflects the great trust our donors place in FTUI. This fund represents not only financial support but also a collective energy that strengthens FTUI’s position as a globally competitive and sustainable center of engineering education,” he stated.
The proceeds from the FTUI Endowment Fund are allocated to support key priority programs, including:
- Scholarships for outstanding students
- Support for leading research and innovation
- Enhancement of the university’s international reputation
Every contribution made to the fund not only broadens access to education but also serves as a driving force for FTUI to produce high-quality graduates and foster research, innovation, and academic excellence that meet international standards.
