Depok, August 31, 2025 – The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to shaping a future of excellence and sustainability in engineering education through the FTUI Endowment Fund Program. This strategic initiative aims to support the implementation of the university’s three pillars—education, research, and community service—while also providing scholarships for students in need and funding various academic development programs for the FTUI community.
From July through August 2025, the FTUI Endowment Fund successfully raised a total of IDR 275,745,700. The details of the fund collection are as follows:
- Virtual Account: IDR 122,010,000
- Commitments: IDR 100,000,000
- QRIS: IDR 53,735,700
Specifically, in August 2025, the Endowment Fund received an additional IDR 43,355,000, contributed by 62 parents of FTUI students. This milestone was achieved during the FTUI Parent Meeting (POM), where parents were invited to contribute to the sustainability of engineering education through the FTUI Endowment Fund.
FTUI Dean, Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed his deep appreciation to all donors:
“The FTUI Endowment Fund is not merely a fundraising initiative—it is a collective movement to ensure excellent, globally competitive, and sustainable engineering education. We are deeply grateful for the support of parents, alumni, and partners who have entrusted their contributions to advance FTUI’s mission,” he said.
FTUI warmly invites its academic community, alumni, industry partners, and the wider public to take part in this collective effort by contributing to the FTUI Endowment Fund. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a tangible impact on the advancement of engineering education in Indonesia, particularly at FTUI.
