On Thursday (28/4), the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) and the Faculty of Military Engineering, Defense University of the Republic of Indonesia (FTM UNHAN) signed a cooperation contract between FTUI and FTM UNHAN. This activity is a follow-up to the previous meeting, on April 14.
There are two decisions that become the core of the collaboration between FTUI and FTM UNHAN. The first is cooperation regarding the implementation, development, and guidance in the framework of the UNHAN laboratory practicum education which will be carried out for one year at FTUI. Furthermore, assistance in the preparation of accreditation documents for the bachelor of informatics, civil engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering graduates from the Faculty of Military Engineering, UNHAN will be carried out for six months.
“This collaboration is a necessity where we cannot work alone and with this collaboration between FTUI and FTM UNHAN, hopefully it can bring mutual benefits and even greater cooperation. Namely, regarding the mastery and sovereignty of technology, so that we can implement it in our country,” said Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah in his remarks at the signing of the cooperation.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhamad Asvial, M.Eng., Dean of FTM UNHAN expressed his hope for this collaboration in his remarks, “We really hope that later there will be a research collaboration that will be built between FTM UNHAN and FTUI. We hope that we can continue to develop and maintain this cooperation step by step.”
The signing was attended by Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah (Dean of FTUI), Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhamad Asvial, Also present were Prof. Dr. Ir. Yanuar (Vice Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs), Prof. Ir. Mahmud Sudibandriyo (Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration), Dr. Ir. Dalhar Susanto (Manager of Venture and Alumni Cooperation), and Colonel Dr. Ir. Rudy A.G. Gultom, M.Sc., CEH., CIGaR (Vice Dean of FTM UNHAN).
