Universitas Indonesia again held offline graduation for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic. UI Graduation was held for two days in multi-location, UI Depok Campus Hall and several Depok Campus and Salemba Campus locations.
Graduates of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia celebrated their graduation in two places on Sunday (11/10/22). 700 graduates attended the Balairung and 734 graduates attended the Purnomo Prawiro Multipurpose Hall. The FTUI graduation at Purnomo Hall was attended by the Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU. along with the heads of departments, representatives of FTUI Professors, and former FTUI Deans.
This year, FTUI graduated 1,448 graduates, consisting of Regular, Parallel, International, Master’s, Doctoral, and Professional Bachelor classes. For the Regular Undergraduate Program, this year FTUI graduated 706 graduates. Parallel Graduates graduated 182 graduates and International Special Class Graduates graduated 107 graduates. In the postgraduate program, this year FTUI graduated 367 master’s program graduates, 25 Doctoral program graduates, and 61 Professional Program graduates.
In his remarks, the Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU, congratulated the graduates of even semester 2021/2022.
“Once again I would like to congratulate the graduates and their parents. Be a person who is not only Excellent but also Impactful, who spreads kindness throughout the country, and even the world. The person who starts goodness from the smallest scope of the family and the surrounding community which then grows and develops, and continues to provide goodness for the homeland, nation, and religion.”
This time, the graduation ceremony is an important and historic moment, not only for FTUI but also for graduates, parents, or guardians of students. This year, the graduation ceremony will be held offline again in several locations by implementing strict health protocols.
The graduation ceremony was closed with a direct greeting by the Dean and Head of the Department at Purnomo Hall and the Deputy Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs at Balairung.
