As part of the effort to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan and provide support to the Educational Staff of FTUI, the Electrical Power Engineering Alumni Family (Kagatrik FTUI) once again distributed packages of groceries to all educational staff members (tendik) within the Faculty of Engineering UI on Thursday, (7/3), held at the Auditorium K301 FTUI. This grocery distribution event was carried out as a form of care for the FTUI educational staff and to assist them in observing the holy month of Ramadan more comfortably.
Similar to previous Ramadans, this year Kagatrik prepared 427 packages of groceries, consisting of staple items such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, and several other daily necessities. The distribution of these groceries will also take place again before the upcoming Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The distribution of Ramadan grocery packages was attended by the Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Yanuar, M.Eng., M.Sc.; HR and Facility Manager, Dr. Ajib Setyo Arifin, S.T., M.T.; Public Communication and General Administration Manager, Tikka Anggraeni, S.Sos., M.Si.; Representatives from Kagatrik FTUI, and the educational staff within FTUI.
FTUI Dean, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, appreciated Kagatrik’s contribution. “We appreciate Kagatrik FTUI’s efforts once again in sharing blessings before the month of Ramadan by distributing 427 packages of groceries to the educational staff of FTUI. This step shows a spirit of togetherness and high concern for maintaining the welfare of the entire FTUI community. We hope this assistance can be a source of encouragement for all recipients in observing fasting and their daily activities more comfortably.”
“We believe that providing this assistance is an important social responsibility for us as Gatrikers, especially as we approach this blessed month of Ramadan,” said Mr. Haryadi Syamsu, a representative from Kagatrik UI.
“Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to our Gatrik FTUI alumni friends for providing these groceries. At this moment when the prices of necessities, especially rice, are soaring high, with the help of these groceries, alhamdulillah, our staff can celebrate Ramadan peacefully without worrying about their basic needs,” said Prof Yanuar.
This grocery distribution also serves as an opportunity for Kagatrik to strengthen its relationship with the FTUI educational staff and reinforce the sense of family ties among each other. The educational staff expressed their gratitude for the attention and support provided by the alumni at Kagatrik FTUI.
