This workshop is designed to provide ready PhD candidates with a practical guide to the process of researching, preparing, and communicating with prospective PhD supervisors. The workshops are interactive and are intended to begin the early process of securing the best possible supervision in preparation for early 2020 PhD scholarship applications.
These workshops will also provide PhD candidates with exclusive access to a technology collaboration between ATN and an Indonesian tech start-up company that specialises in mobile video assessments. This technology will allow candidates to present a short 2-3 minute video introduction of themselves and their proposed research to prospective supervisors throughout the Australia Technology Network of universities. This will enable supervisors to get a more authentic sense of the candidates and their proposed research.
