On March 13 and 14, 2024, Halliburton Indonesia conducted a Campus Hiring event within the Universitas Indonesia campus. The positions open for recruitment by Halliburton were Associate Field Engineer and Operator Assistant. The series of activities commenced with a sharing session (March 13) led by Ankush Balla, the President and Director of Halliburton Indonesia, followed by a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The participants’ enthusiasm for this Campus Hiring event was high, with 300 participants who passed the administrative selection attending the CBT test.
“When I first graduated from college, I was not familiar with the industrial world. Then I applied to Halliburton and was recruited. This is where I learned many new things and also implemented various innovations,” said Ankush.
Participants who passed the test on the first day were then invited to participate in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on March 14, 2024, at the Smart Meeting Room FTUI. In this stage, 130 participants attended the FGD. Subsequently, participants were asked to present the results of their discussions to the Halliburton recruitment team. After this stage, successful participants would proceed to interviews at the Halliburton Indonesia office.
“We highly appreciate Halliburton Indonesia for organizing this Campus Hiring event. We also appreciate the enthusiasm of the students who participated in this event up to the FGD. Hopefully, this activity will be beneficial for the students, FTUI, and also the organizers,” said Dr.-Ing. Ir. Dalhar Susanto, the Manager of Cooperation, Venture, and Alumni.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU., said, “This activity demonstrates FTUI’s openness to external parties. We are very pleased with the Campus Hiring event because students can benefit by contributing directly. I fully support the continuation of such activities in the future.”
