FTUI and PT Hutama Karya (Persero) Evaluate the Achievement of Educational Collaboration in the Field of Construction Management

On Tuesday (6/2), the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), together with PT Hutama Karya (Persero), conducted a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) meeting to assess the achievements of their collaboration in education, held in the Senate Room, FTUI Dean’s Building.

This activity was carried out to review the progress of academic activities and academic achievements of employees of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) enrolled in the Master’s Program in Civil Engineering, specializing in Construction Management. Previously, FTUI and PT Hutama Karya (Persero) had signed a Cooperation Agreement related to the Master’s Education Program through the Collaborative Class route, aimed at enhancing the competencies of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) employees in construction management development.

The Collaborative Class between PT Hutama Karya (Persero) and FTUI is attended by 10 PT Hutama Karya (Persero) employees in the Master’s Program in Civil Engineering, specializing in Construction Management. They are prepared to become graduates capable of developing construction management systems for projects undertaken by Hutama Karya.

Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU., stated, “The educational collaboration between FTUI and PT Hutama Karya (Persero) in the field of construction management has significantly contributed to improving the quality of human resources in the construction sector. Through this evaluation of collaboration achievements, we hope to continue strengthening future collaborations to produce graduates ready to face the increasingly complex challenges in the construction industry.”

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Ir. Yanuar, M.Eng., M.Sc., Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs at FTUI, said, “This opportunity can be used to listen to each other’s achievements and evaluate existing collaborations. Certainly, with the implementation of this monitoring and evaluation, we hope to identify and provide solutions to the challenges faced by students during the implementation of this educational collaboration program. Additionally, we hope this collaboration can proceed smoothly and assist PT Hutama Karya (Persero) in developing human resources with superior capabilities.”

After the remarks, Ayomi Dita Rarasati, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., Chair of the Civil Engineering Department at FTUI, provided monitoring and evaluation results related to achievements and areas for joint evaluation. Additionally, she also presented the academic results of the students for the fall semester of the Academic Year 2023/2024.

M. Andy Hakim, Analyst in the Human Capital Division of PT Hutama Karya (Persero), responded positively to FTUI’s efforts in educating PT Hutama Karya (Persero) employees, saying, “We are very proud to hear the results of our employees’ studies. From the beginning of their studies, our employees have shown quite high enthusiasm. The management fully supports our employees’ studies. Additionally, we hope to send more PT Hutama Karya employees to study at FTUI in the next intake.”

From the evaluation and reporting of the learning activities’ achievements of students from PT Hutama Karya (Persero), it can be concluded that this collaborative education program is progressing well. The students achieved satisfactory grades for the fall semester of the Academic Year 2023/2024.

Dr.-Ing. Ir. Dalhar Susanto, Manager of Cooperation, Ventures, and Alumni, expressed, “We hope this satisfactory outcome continues into the next semester. We will encourage students to remain diligent in their studies and in preparing their theses.”

The event was attended by representatives from FTUI, including Prof. Dr. Ir. Yanuar, M.Eng., M.Sc., Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs at FTUI, Dr. Nyoman Suwartha, S.T., M.T., M.Agr., Education Manager, Dr.-Ing. Ir. Dalhar Susanto, Manager of Cooperation, Ventures, and Alumni, Ayomi Dita Rarasati, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., Chair of the Civil Engineering Department, and from PT Hutama Karya (Persero), M. Andy Hakim, Analyst in the Human Capital Division, Maya Dwi Ardiana, Learning Development Dept. Head, and Audita Dwi Sekar Utami, Learning Development Ass. Manager.
