Prof. Dr. Ir. Winarto, M.Sc. trusted to continue the service of the Academic Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia (UPMA FTUI) for the period 2022-2026. Prof. Winarto was inaugurated at the handover ceremony and last inauguration (21/01) which was led directly by the Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU. Over the next four years, Prof. Winarto will continue to oversee the process of academic quality assurance and management system assurance within FTUI.
“Assurance of academic quality and service standards in the management system is important for us to maintain and improve in the future. Starting from achieving the highest score in various accreditations at the national and international levels to ensuring that FTUI continues to implement the quality management system assurance,” said Dean Heri.
Prof. Winarto conveyed his readiness to serve at UPMA FTUI. “First, UPMA must be able to continue to increase the level of superior accreditation for each Study Program within the FTUI environment which in the future will have an impact on increasing graduates and improving the quality of learning through the predetermined Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL). Second, UPMA continues to strive to make FTUI superior in the implementation of the Internal Quality Management system, Risk Management and K3LL system, to improve excellent service, policy transparency and an orderly, safe and comfortable learning and working environment according to the referenced standard (ISO).
Prof. Dr. Ir. Winarto, M.Sc. is a Professor at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering FTUI. After earning his bachelor’s degree at UI, he continued his studies in Manufacturing Process at Denmark Technical University for his master’s degree and his doctorate degree from Swansea University, UK in the field of Materials Engineering. He is the Chair of the Scientific Group of DTMM FTUI Material Manufacturing Processes and is still active as a Reviewer for National Research, Makara Journal of Technology, IJTech, Serdos, BAN-PT, LAM-Teknik, Member of the Technical Committee for Metals, Steel and Steel Products, Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia and many more.
