HelpIN, a Service Application Resulting from Collaboration between FT and FEB UI Students

Three FT and FEB UI students collaborated and achieved 3rd place in the Business Plan Competition (BCP) KSE UNDIP 2024. M. Iqbal Banoza Apriansyah (Electrical Engineering 2022), Adibah Seila Nafaza (Islamic Economics 2022), and Ade Isaura Tiara (Accounting 2022) successfully surpassed 529 other teams in the online competition held from January to March 2024.

BCP KSE UNDIP 2024 is an entrepreneurship competition aimed at fostering a creative and innovative entrepreneurial spirit and boosting the economic movement in Indonesia through the role of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Iqbal and his team conceptualized HelpIN, a service-on-demand application used to find freelance workers or providers of various services generally not found in physical transaction markets in Indonesia. With this application, they address the challenges of Indonesia’s increasingly limited job market and the lack of a significant increase in the number of new workers.

“We created HelpIN to connect those in need of services with service providers. HelpIN has several advantages, including a wide range of services offered, totalling 40 services; flexible contract durations; user-friendly interface; easy transactions; integration with real-time data; and service security with NFC on jackets and the application,” said Iqbal.

FTUI Dean, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU., said, “I am very proud that FTUI students are motivated to collaborate with students from other faculties. Iqbal has shown that as FTUI students, we can also contribute to economic development. Hopefully, what Iqbal, Adibah, and Ade have done can inspire other students.”
