The Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) held a Pre-Event for the 42nd Anniversary of TGP-TK-BIOP (02/07). The event on Saturday morning started with sports activities from various alumni sports communities, then continued with a lively stage event which started at 08.30. Several alumni and students of the Chemical Engineering Department, FTUI, who contributed vocal performances and further enlivened this dark red event.
Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU., Dean of FTUI who is also an alumni of DTK FTUI delivered his brief remarks at the beginning of the event, “The Department of Chemical Engineering has now started to contribute to coloring FTUI not only in the academic field, but also in elements of the academic support element itself. Today we are gathered here to remember together that chemical engineering is also a department of excellence and impact.”
At this event, apart from celebrating the upcoming DTK Dies Natalis, this event is also an opportunity to present plans for the creation of the DTK UI Napak Tilas book. Mrs. Retno, a DTK alumni who acts as one of the editorial team, explained that the Napak Tilas DTK UI book is targeted to be completed before the peak event takes place on January 18, 2023. One part of the contents of this book will be devoted to recording alumni who have succeeded in making their mark. the name of the Department of Chemical Engineering while still a student.
